PORTABLE DECORATIVE ELEMENT COMPRISING A TRIM FILLED UNDER A CUTTED SHEET
The present invention relates to a portable decorative element combining several elements, which may have different aspects and / or be made of different materials.
The modern processes for cutting metal sheets make it possible to produce, from metals such as steel, brass, copper, aluminum, silver or gold, various and fine cuts comprising in particular particular holes of different shapes, to make jewelry or fashion accessories.
It is known to fix permanently on the inner face of the cut sheet a slightly flexible lining appearing through the openings of this sheet, having a different appearance and colors to achieve a decorative aesthetic effect.
Preferably for the interior lining noble materials, such as natural or synthetic fabrics of quality, or leather. We then have the rigid sheet giving the general shape of the decorative element, as well as an external appearance resistant to wear, which can be shiny, satin or matte, and the inner lining forming a softer and more warm material, whose nature, appearance and color contrast with the metal.
In particular, bracelets, broaches, earrings or jumpers may be made comprising a cut metal sheet forming a rigid structure having a particular shape according to its function. Bracelets formed in a rolled sheet metal strip, for example, have an opening allowing the wrist to be adjusted in a neat manner.
The lining may receive additional elements to ensure in particular the fastening or carrying function, such as a cord or a chain passing around the neck for a jumper, or a pin for attaching a pin to a coat.
For jewelry directly in contact with the skin such as bracelets, the softer inner lining gives a more pleasant touch on this skin.
However, a problem that arises with this type of decorative element, is that with an interior liner permanently fixed to the sheet by various means to ensure good maintenance and a veneer under the sheet, then we can not proceed quickly and easily to the change of this filling.
In addition, detachment of the lining generally requires the use of specialized tools, in particular to remove clamping screws or rivets, and may cause damage to the elements. The disassembly and reassembly operation can be slow and delicate to maintain an impeccable appearance and finish to justify the decorative function.
We can not quickly make variants of the same jewel or decorative element, changing the trim or the decorative sheet, while we seek more and more to customize the fashion accessories to adapt for example to worn clothes, to types of activities planned, or a need for frequent renewal so as not to repeat the same decoration.
The present invention is intended to avoid these disadvantages of the prior art.
It proposes for this purpose a portable decorative element comprising a metal structure made in a cut sheet having decorative holes, receiving on its rear face a seal forming a visible plate through these holes, which can be bent elastically, this element being remarkable in that the sheet has on its rear face fixing means holding the lining, which apply a tightening of this lining performing its plating on the rear face of the structure.
An advantage of this decorative element is that the fastening means applying a tightening of the liner in lateral directions of the plate, provide a stress on this lining to maintain it without play in the structure and therefore without wear, and generate pressure which tends when it is bent to push the plate outward which gives its veneer on the back side ensuring the desired aesthetic effect.
One can then simply and quickly, without tools and without damaging any component, disengage the seal to remove it and replace it with another. This trim can also be used with another metal structure. The portable decorative element according to the invention may further comprise one or more of the following features, which may be combined with one another.
According to one embodiment, the rear face has lateral lugs forming fastening means, providing support edges of the liner.
In this case, advantageously the lateral tabs are formed by a folding of the edge of the sheet of the structure. These side tabs are simple to perform.
According to another embodiment, the decorative element comprises buttonholes plating the liner on the rear face of the structure. The buttonholes achieve a maintenance of the filling in the different directions.
In this case, the buttonhole advantageously comprises a substantially spherical button, fixed on the rear face of the structure at a distance ensuring under this button a compression of the lining in its thickness. This compression maintains a plating of the liner on the back side of the structure.
Advantageously, the lateral distance between two fastening means, following the contour of the rear face of the structure, is less than the same distance on the lining so as to ensure its lateral clamping by these fixing means.
In particular, the decorative element may constitute a bracelet comprising a substantially curved sheet metal strip having an opening for the passage of the wrist.
This bracelet advantageously comprises two buttonholes disposed on the rear face of the structure, near each end of the sheet metal strip, and side tabs on the sides of this strip forming supports on the edges of the liner. This effectively maintains the lining in all directions, allowing quick disassembly.
In particular, the structure can form a disc having folded edges constituting fixing means.
In particular, the lining may comprise two leather faces. The leather faces are a material ensuring good durability and a pleasant contact with the skin.
Advantageously, the lining has two faces of different colors, designed to be rotated alternately towards the structure. One can thus quickly with the purchase of a single trim, benefit from a decorative element having two different aspects. The invention will be better understood and other features and advantages will appear more clearly on reading the following description given by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: - Figure 1 shows a bracelet forming an element decorative device according to the invention; - Figures 2 and 3 respectively show the sheet and the leather trim of this bracelet which are detached; - Figures 4 and 5 show in cross section, respectively a buttoning of the lining and a lateral lug of this lining; - Figures 6a, 6b and 6c show the assembly of this bracelet; - Figures 7 and 8 show two variants of rings according to the invention; FIGS. 9a and 9b respectively show an overall view and a detail view of a jumper according to the invention; and - Figures 10a and 10b respectively show in front view and side, an ear pendant according to the invention.
Figure 1 shows a bracelet having a structure 2 formed in a strip of cut metal sheet, which is bent to form a loop having an opening for the passage of the wrist.
A leather lining 4 plated inside the metal structure 2 on its rear face, substantially forms a rectangle whose long sides 6 are fitted to the edges of the sheet, and the short sides 8 a little set back from the edge of this sheet.
The lining 4 forms a plate which can be elastically bent, fixed inside the structure 2 by two buttonholes 10 each arranged in the axis of the strip, near one end of this strip, and by two legs 12 each disposed in the middle of a large side of this structure.
The sheet of the structure 2 has a thickness of about 1 to 2 mm, the leather trim 4 a thickness of up to about 4 mm. We choose a slightly supple leather, having elasticity with a shape memory that allows it to resume its shape after bending. If necessary, it is possible to make a stack of leathers assembled together giving a semi-rigidity to the lining, with for example a central flexible core having a thickness of approximately 1 / 10mm.
FIG. 2 shows the sheet of the structure 2 cut in a metal strip such as a steel or a brass, comprising over its entire surface aligned holes 14 having geometric contours, which may represent more than half of the total area. We obtain a simple and uncluttered graphic, highlighting the motifs forming like a metal lace. It is also possible to use other types of cuts, for example to form writes.
The cuts of the structure 2 can also be combined with stampings or etchings on the metal surface of the sheet to provide other decorative effects, such as writing.
The structure 2 has a surface that can be polished, satin or matte, comprising a metal or a coating having good mechanical strength and resistance to oxidation and chemical agents so as to maintain its appearance without wear and without alteration . In particular, a coating can be made of gold, silver, ruthenium, palladium or rhodium.
Figure 3 shows the leather lining 4, forming a substantially rectangular strip with rounded corners, comprising near each end a hole 16 disposed along the main axis of the strip.
Alternatively the bracelet may have a number of buttonholes 10 different, for example one or three. It may also have none, the maintenance of the liner 4 being performed only by side lugs 12, the lining being pressed into the bent structure 2 by its elastic effect which tends to straighten it.
Figure 4 shows the buttonhole 10 comprising a substantially spherical button 20, fixed to the sheet of the structure 2 by a short rod 22 welded vertically on the sheet. For a 4-thin gasket, the spherical button alone 20 can be fixed directly to the sheet of the structure 2, without rod. The piercing 16 of the liner 4 has a diameter slightly smaller than that of the knob 20.
For the assembly of the lining 4, the hole 16 is placed above the knob 20, as shown in position A, and then this lining is lowered by pressing it on the structure 2 so as to enlarge the material around the piercing by deformation. , and to come in position B resting on the sheet. The spherical shape of the button 20 facilitates its introduction into the bore 16, and is a curved surface that is not aggressive to the wrist skin.
By adjusting the height of the button 20 according to the thickness of the lining 4, this gives a permanent vertical clamping of this lining by the button, leaving it pressed against the sheet of the structure 2.
FIG. 5 shows the lateral lug 12 of the structure 2, which forms a 90 ° fold whose end 18 ends slightly below the upper level of the lining 4 so as not to exceed, so as not to irritate the wrist skin or hang something.
Figures 6a, 6b and 6c show the method of assembling the bracelet.
Figure 6a first shows the shaping of the liner 4, which is rolled to form a bend comprising a diameter slightly smaller than that of the structure 2 disposed below, shown in Figure 6b.
The liner 4 is then lowered vertically by an axial sliding along the arrow 30, by sliding in the structure 2 to abut on the lower side lug located below this structure. At this time the upper edge of the liner 4 also passes the upper side lug 12. The liner 4 is then fitted between the two lateral lugs 12, which form a lateral wedge in both directions.
Figure 6c then shows a pressure F applied inside the liner 4 at each buttonhole 10, to engage the buttons 20 in the holes of this liner. By providing a distance between the two holes 16 of the lining 4 slightly greater than the distance available between the two buttons 20 following the curvature of the structure, there is a certain lateral pressure of this lining in the sheet ensuring a maintenance and an absence of play
In addition, the shape memory of the somewhat elastic lining 4 tends to maintain its spacing inside the structure 2, which reinforces its plating in this structure.
The assembly of the packing 4 simple and fast, without tooling, ensures an effective positioning which is maintained in the time.
A bracelet is obtained simultaneously having the shiny and luminous appearance of the metal structure 2, giving by its stiffness the general shape of the jewel, adorned with the holes 14 through which appears the leather trim 4 bringing color and color. sweetness. In particular one can choose a relief of the particular leather giving a luxurious aspect to the jewel.
The combination of the two different technologies, the metal decorated with cuts with a metallic luster and the leather of the filling, coming from the know-how of two different trades, gives a contrast bringing a particular modern aesthetic.
The disassembly of the liner 4 can be done simply by pulling on its ends to disengage the buttons 20 of the bores 16, then tightening its bending to disengage the lateral lugs 12, to extract it by axial sliding. It should be noted that this disassembly is also done without tools, and without modifying or damaging any part.
Advantageously there are two different colors on both sides of the liner 4 which is reversible, which allows from the same liner mounted in one direction or the other to obtain two different effects on the same jewel.
Alternatively a liner 4 may be provided having a surface formed by other materials, such as natural or synthetic fabric, or a plastic material. If necessary, a stack of materials is made comprising inside a plate having an elasticity to ensure bending and a shape memory.
It is also possible to produce a trim 4 which protrudes in places on the sides of the structure, to be visible and to give a particular aesthetic.
We can provide an individual sale of the gaskets 4 apart from the metal structures 2, which then makes it possible to have at a reduced cost a large choice of aspects and colors. It is also possible to remove the lining 4, to carry only the metal structure 2 which gives an additional presentation variant.
Figure 7 shows a ring comprising a sheet metal structure 2 wound in a small diameter to fit on a finger, which comprises rows of holes 14 forming a decoration. Rows of small bosses 48, formed by stamping, chemical cutting or etching of the sheet, complete the decor. In particular, chemical etching gives precise markings made economically.
The lining forming a strip 4 is inserted into the structure 2 of the ring after having been wound by elastic deformation. Cavities in the inner surface of the structure 2, turned towards the lining 4 and obtained by stamping, by chemical etching or by etching all over the surface of this lining, form a holding cage ensuring a clamping and locking guaranteeing its positioning and its maintenance.
FIG. 8 shows a ring comprising a ring 40 designed to fit around a finger, receiving by welding a circular metal structure 2 having in the center the rows of bores 14, and around a circular rim 42 forming a continuous bending turned towards the ring.
The lining 4 is formed by a leather disc, which is inserted by fitting into a cage under the sheet of the structure 2. The ring of the ring 40 holds the lining in its housing so as to ensure its plating under the plate of structure 2.
Figures 9a and 9b show a jumper comprising a metal structure 2 slightly curved, having a crescent shape whose tapered ends strongly constrict to form a circular inner contour comprising a passage 46 allowing to fit the neck of the person.
The structure 2 comprises rows of holes 14, and between these bores rows of small bosses 48 made by stamping or chemical cutting of the sheet, adding decorative elements. Thus, in a single piece of cut sheet metal, a large metal structure 2 having a sufficient rigidity for this type of jewelry.
The lining 4 is pressed on the rear face of the sheet metal structure 2 by three buttonholes giving a tightening of the lining against the sheet of the structure 2 to ensure its maintenance.
Figures 10a and 10b show an ear pendant comprising a flat sheet metal structure 2, connected to a hooking needle 52 by a chain 50.
The structure 2 having rows of holes 14, has at the rear on its periphery lugs 12 forming by interlocking inside the lateral clamping points of the liner 4, in order to keep it plated on the rear face of this structure .
